Sleep deprived? Yep… I’ve been there!!
I was in your shoes back in 2022 when my first son was a few months old. Going into parenthood, I had expected tiredness but I hadn’t anticipated how much exhaustion was going to affect me. It was getting in the way of enjoying motherhood, altering who I was as a person. I felt I was on the brink of tears most of the time and something needed to change…
A friend recommended a sleep consultant they had used and we booked an appointment straight away.
In the space of three nights our boy went from waking 4/6 times a night to feed (sometimes for 40 minutes!!) to sleeping for 12 hours straight. His short 30 minute naps extended to 1.5/2 hours over the following month and my sanity, sense of self, and enjoyment of motherhood returned.
After the birth of my second son, I felt well equipped to implement healthy sleep habits from day one and it dawned on me that my obsession with good sleep was something I could translate into a career.
I trained with Baby Sleep The Night and have been helping families get back on track ever since.
I’m particularly passionate about helping women find themselves again after becoming a Mother. For me, there were two things I wanted back in my life that I didn’t have to share, or have disturbed… playing netball and having a bath! Both came back as soon as I was able to put my child down for the night, knowing that he was fed, clean, safe and tired. Total game changer.
